The use of Cornerstone and now ThemeCo Pro, has made it easy for our Marketing team to make updates and develop more page templates on our own without paying for outside developers. The new site design was launched on the same Wordpress account in the summer of 2022. During that time I Art Directed a photoshoot with actual Nuspire employees in the Michigan office working with a photographer that I knew from Cleveland.
I resourced a development team that could work within our tight budget with the agreement that I fully design and deliver the plans and files. I started by developing wireframes for 12 templates to be reused across the site.
For the brand identity we went with a logo type which originated from the chosen brand title typeface—Cambridge Round. For the side panels we created fruity icon shapes that represent the product in the package. On the opposite panel it displays the quantity and has a story typographic representation below.
The company website for Zoku, LLC needed a complete overhaul to become a responsive site in 2014. First, I resourced a developer and located a company that specialized with Shopify e-commerce sites in Canada. Then I worked directly with then developers managing the entire project from start to launch.
I resourced a local video production team and set up a shoot. I was involved in creating the story board, preparing the product, and making the pops. I then directed both the shoot and the editing process, continuing edits myself by shortening the video and rearranging segments.
In the spring of 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we put out an annual report as we all transitioned to working remote. Our budget was cut so we took a new turn to designing a fully digital report first. It included a newly designed web section, digital PDF financial, contributor, and email reports, and an email announcement with social media posts.
While at Zoku I worked to establish the brand identity and standards. They had branding started when I was hired but there didn’t have standards. I worked to create them for emails, packaging, social, sell sheets, photography and more along with creating a guide.
Zoku’s product team designed a single serve Ice Cream Maker to release in 2014. Williams-Sonoma had an exclusive contract on the product at the time and was interested in selling it bundled with a recipe book.
I have worked extensively using the email service platforms Mailchimp, Virtuous Giving, Hubspot and Constant Contact. I’ve designed digital campaigns, set up in the programs, scheduled and sent for drip campaigns, product selling, announcements, philanthropic asks and event save the dates and invitations.
Working at Zoku I designed many trade ads and posters. Zoku participated in trade shows across the U.S. and overseas and promoted new products via trade ads like Home Furnishings News, International Housewares Association, Gourmet Business, Gourmet Insider, and more.
These renderings were primarily used to sell the product to buyers or show them what it would look like on an endcap in their store. I created endcaps for buyers commonly at Target, Macy’s, Best Buy and Walmart.
At Eversight the Philanthropy department holds many events for fundraising. For most events I design invites, signage, sponsorship sheets, email invites, social media posts, web design, ticketing pages, presentation decks and more.
The booth was designed to be re-used for the year of trade shows local to the U.S. For international shows like in Ambiente, Germany we worked with a local booth company to rent or build furniture based on our design fo the display.
For the Ice Ball packaging (pictured right), I art directed a photoshoot for the cocktails, ice ball, and the product images. I photoshopped the main product image to have the ice ball floating in between the 2 molds.
From hand model to stylist, I research photography ideas, taken test photos, created shot lists, prepped the products, shopped and styled photoshoots.
